GETTING TO PALMERSTON ROAD

Palmerston Road is at the heart of Southsea, and is conveniently easy to find, running from Southsea Seafront up through Osborne Road to Kent Road, with St. Jude's Church at the northern tip. Parking for the markets is situated in Avenue de Caen to the south of Palmerston Road. The market itself takes in the precinct which takes up the northern half of the Palmerston Road high street, from Osborne Road up to Kent Road. There are two entrances for market traders' vehicles — the gate at the top of Palmerston Road (on Kent Road) and the gate on Stanley Street, around the corner from Waitrose on Marmion Road.
