Southsea-based artist, illustrator, and sign-writer Lauren Piper designed our POSH poster as a nod to the old acronym of the seaward travellers, who would bunk on the port side of the ship while heading to India and then switch to the starboard side for the return trip, to avoid the strong sun which would make their cabin conditions unbearable.
